Open Call

/room/ is dedicated to exhibiting the work of local, emerging, and early-career artists selected from annual open calls by a series of guest jurors. Projects are developed collaboratively from the proposals submitted by each selected artist. All exhibiting artists are paid an honorarium and given the opportunity to engage with the community through public programming, including workshops and artist talks.

We only accept proposals through our /room/ open calls, which we announce here on our website, in our newsletter (subscribe here), and on Instagram. There is never an application fee to participate.

Thanks to all the artists who applied to our 2025 open call. We will reach out to selected artists at the end of April. Our next open call will take place in February 2026.
